WakandaAzure

Dear Friends of Jano,

So this is intended to be a short issue.

1. There isn’t that much to say about why I drew this 2. I gotta pick cotton in a few hours so ya know.

Anyway.

I saw Black Panther this w.end with 2 of my friends and well Wakanda Forever.

I wonder if we would have had a Wakanda if slavery never existed? Fuck Slavery,Colonialism,and greedy racist white people.

Real Shit this movie is equal to Deadpool to me, even though unlike my favorite Merc with a Mouth I had no knowledge of the Wakanda King what so ever. However my favorite character in the movie was Killmonger. I want to model my life after him, maybe if I do I’ll get me some white slaves. Reparations is goals, so is bound through oppression of my oppressors.

But Jano what about your white friends? Would we be slaves too?

Dear White People, if I know you and actually like you, you’ll be in the house with me.If not you better get ready to pick cotton like my ancestors.

Spoiler Alert, I want to wear nice high quality Bill Cosby sweaters so you better pick that good cotton.

Anyway I decided to draw a picture with the King of Wakanda with the Empress Watatsumi of the Posei Kingdom and all of the country of Azure from my story Azure Ascendance. Yay Black Love and Black Excellence.

But Jano what about Storm?

Look I like Storm and the X-Men, I do they are one of my favorite non anime properties. BUT I felt like drawing my character with T’Challa instead. Straight like that.

Anyway thats it.

Like I said this was gonna be a short issue cuz I have to be up in a few hours.

Spoiler Alert, this is the first thing I have colored in a month. NIGGA THE CATHARSIS I felt while I colored listening to Ella Mai, Sabrina Claudio, and Halsey on Spotify. While thinking that the new season of Atlanta premieres tonight. NIGGA WHAT!!!

Anyway thats it, next issue will be the Mad Monster Party images from a few weeks ago.

Frog Boy

Dear Friends of Jano,

First if you caught the Black Dynamite cartoon reference in the name of this issue, then you are the real MVP. If not, eh you alright.

So initially I planned on this issue being the next project I worked in my quest to gain more experience points in working with models, but I changed my mind. A friend that I met at this sketch group that I have been going to since June 2011, asked other artist to version of his character Frog Boy. Totally wanted to add some weird Jano element to it, but since the character is a wholesome one and I try to respect my friends I didn’t. Oh but the thoughts I had for Frog Boy were oh so deviously twisted, HA. At any rate it was very nice reprieve considering the only thing I have been doing artistically was storyboarding Act 2 of my comic.

That is right, was.

I finally finished storyboarding Act 2. YAAAAASSSSSS. So now I just have to go back and confirm the line work and ink for said act then I can enter a coloring coma. Joy is coloring yo. Joy is also finishing the edits for a photo project. Now just one more to do for this summers fantasy photo project. Please don’t rain Saturday, please don’t fucking rain Saturday. Holy Fuck.

Sorry went to a dark space for a minute, but not as dark as when the Night King and his new dragon Fire Raped everyone who was at the well. Blue Magic Flames of Rape burned the fuck out Westeros vagina. Speaking of vagina, Jon Snow got all in his Aunt Dany’s Vag. Thats gonna be an awkward conversation when we get to it in 2019. Each of those last 6 episodes better be 2 hours long and savory as fuck for the wait.  When Game of Thrones actually ends chances are I will rewatch it multiple times like I have watched Dear White People (hoping season 2 will be longer in length and episode count).I just watched Logan and it wasn’t as bad the previous ones, but the entire X-Men movie franchise is fucking trash. I legit just want a new cartoon that rivals the one from the 90’s.  That’s all, or a really good Netflix series (not counting Iron Fist, OMG please be better than Iron Fist if it gets made).

New Book Series:Azure Ascendance Issue 1

Dear Friends of  Jano,

Within the past few months I decided to do on a full on comic series, which was just going to be a new set of random of drawings. *insert irony here.* The bulk of the past few months was spent brainstorming names, places and a coherent story that hopefully won’t be ripped apart the internet. Because we all know the internet will roast your soul worse than Cersei did in Game of Thrones.  Side note that may have been the only time I have ever liked her in entire series. Anyway, I am giving myself  a few years to finish this series since everything will be done by me.You read that right EVERYTHING, what did I say before all things are possible through me. I am really excited to be doing this and look forward to how it all comes out over the next few years.

The story takes place in the country of Azure under the rule of the benevolent Empress Watatsumi. In Issue 1 we meet her as her and her daughter Princess Yosei are on a royal reprieve at the beach, along with their Royal Guards and Mage. What is supposed to be a holiday turns into a battle royal by a band of random individuals. Leaving questions of who are they and the purpose behind this attack.
